Our Mission
Cleft Rescue Unit Founded April 2023 as a division of New2U Rescue
CRU’s mission is to provide hope and healing to both puppies and children born with cleft palates and craniofacial conditions. We are dedicated to rescuing medically fragile puppies, nurturing them, and facilitating their connection with healthcare agencies and children facing similar challenges. Through compassion, education, and collaboration, we aim to transform lives, fostering a community of support and empowerment for those affected by craniofacial differences.
Who we are
Cleft Rescue Unit is a Registered 501c3 Nonprofit rescue that is entirely volunteer based. All of our foster puppies are lovingly cared for in our homes with one of our team members. Our fosters have years of experience caring for medically fragile puppies and each foster home is equipped with incubators, oxygen concentrators and medical supplies to ensure the highest level of care for our babies. We are a small team that works closely with veterinarians to care for our puppies around the clock.
